Welcome to my labs!

I’ve always wanted a space to share concepts I’ve figured out, for my own notes and, hopefully, to help others learn. I run all kinds of random experiments and projects at home, whether that’s building a small hardware device, building an outdoor deck, fixing the furnace fan or writing a bit of software to do something interesting. Both of my daughters seem to share that same curiosity. They always see me tinkering with something. My younger daughter, who is 6 as of this writing naturally has more questions than I can answer. My older daughter is a critic of this site. If she doesn’t understand what I’m trying to communicate here, I don’t think I’ve done a good enough job.

Please keep in mind that these articles reflect my own perspective on how I understand things. They may not be entirely accurate, and are sometimes oversimplified. There may be technical inaccuracies too. My goal is to understand and communicate the fundamentals, so that we can build from there. If you spot something is off, please use the contact form to let me know, and I’ll try to correct it as soon as I can.
